I was on the hunt for the perfect drug store recommendation and I am very confident that I found it!
This is hands down one of my favorite formulas I have tried, including high end brands.
This Matte Lip will dry down but leaves the lips feeling velvety and soft. It was buildable and stayed incredibly comfortable on the lips. Easy to apply and the color pay off was gorgeous!
This shade is just the perfect berry with a cool undertone. I'll be buying more!

2) Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Berry ($21.00)
Oh, Too Faced. So many great things to say about this brand. These melted lipsticks are just beautiful. They're smooth when applying, comfortable on the lips and the color selection is really pretty. Now these are NOT a matte liquid lip. They do not dry down to that liquid lip finish we all know. They will transfer but the plus is they stay very soft on your lips.
To me this deep shade just *screams* holidays! Perfect for Fall and will carry you throughout NYE!
3) MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy ($17.00)
Where to begin! Velvet Teddy has been a ride or die product for me, for so many years! That's why it just had to make this list. Perfect mauve/nude for Autumn and Winter. Slightly deeper than your average nude, it will really add a pop of color to the lips without being overpowering.
Holidays also mean more intense eye looks & this is the perfect shade to pair dramatic looks with.
This is a normal lipstick formula so it does not dry down, will transfer and will need to be applied some throughout the day. Super comfortable and creamy!
4) Colourpop Lippie Stix in LBB ($5.00)
Did you read that price tag up there ^ ummm, $5.00!!
I just love Colourpop Lippie Stix and LBB is one of those must have shades for Fall and Winter. A true deep, rich, plum wine shade. Will look amazing paired with those blacks, camel and olive toned pieces we love to wear this time of the year! They dry down some but will still transfer. Super easy to apply and they stay comfortable on the lips for hours.

5)Teeez Cosmetics Eve's Ready to Wear Lipstick in Romantic Red ($22.00)
Let me start off with the most important fact about this lipstick-it smells like CANDY! *Bonus points for that Teeez!
This lipstick is so creamy and smooth to apply. It's comfortable on the lips and is just that perfect red for Christmas or NYE parties! Again, a normal lipstick formula and not matte. It gives some shine to the lips without being too glossy.

6) Colorpop Ultra Matte Lip in Beeper ($6.00)
Ok, so this was a last minute add on, as I originally was only going to have 5. BUT I absolutely had to include Beeper. This is hands down one of my very favorite shades. I wear it constantly. No really, I've bought multiple! EVERYTIME I wear Beeper I get asked what is on my lips.
This is the most gorgeous warm, mid-toned taupe. It goes with anything and in my opinion one of the very best shades for Fall and Winter. Now this is MATTE. Dries down completely and will not transfer at all, but with that comes the drying effect. This does dry your lips and I definitely recommend making sure your lips are exfoliated and moisturizer before using.
