June Favorites 2017

I cannot believe it is officially July. It's making my heart happy (sorry summer fans) because that means we are getting that much close to Autumn!

BUT, before my favorites are filled with all things Fall, I wanted to share some of the beauty products that I have been loving this past month. I ended up with a range of products that are both higher end and some incredible drugstore finds.

So lets just jump on in!

First up: the star of the show!
If you don't know who Jaclyn Hill is, go find out! You will be happy you did.
Jaclyn is a Beauty Guru on YouTube that I have been following for so many years. She recently collaborated with Morphe Brushes again, which is a company I have blogged about and shared on IG numerous times. This was a match made in heaven.
Their new pallet is absolutely stunning. As always with Morphe pallets, the product is super pigmented and blendable but this pallets color range is pure perfection. With such a wide range you can create literally any look you have in mind.
This pallet can be out here for $38.00 once the restock takes place. This will be happening soon and I will make sure to let you know on IG when it's back.
GET IT, you will thank me.

Next up, and no surprise here, is the tarte Shape Tape. I have talked about this before so I was going to leave it off the list but I just cannot think favorites without thinking of this ride or die product. THIS concealer has changed the concealer game. FULL coverage, long lasting and blends beautifully. I also love that you can layer this product. You can find the Shape Tape here at Ulta for $25.00.
(Also sold at Sephora)

Jeffree Star Cosmetics! Now I know he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but regardless of how some people view him, his cosmetics are simply amazing. I would say his Velour Liquid Lipsticks are my absolute favorite in the game. They have this beautiful velvet feel to the lips while still drying down, ensuring that they are long lasting. And oh my gosh, the colors! His range is out of control.
I have a few bolder ones from JSC but this one in Rose Matter has to be my absolute favorite.
It is such a gorgeous every day shade. A true soft coral.

(Picture from Jeffree Star Cosmetics) You can find Rose Matter here for $18.00

wet n wild photofocus foundation

Ok, this product I am SUPER excited to talk about. I just adore an amazing drugstore find and this foundation from wet n wild is so wonderful.

I was skeptical because I have never tried a foundation from wet n wild before but after reading such good reviews, I knew I had to try it. This foundation feels like your skin. It is buildable and provides amazing coverage but the thing I love most is the finish. It is truly a natural finish on the skin. wet n wild has tested this foundation in numerous different lights as well to ensure that you will not receive any sort of flashback. Making this an amazing product to wear when you know you will be photographed.
AND THE PRICE: $5.99. You read that right. $5.99! For a ton of product in a glass bottle.
You can find it at most Walgreens, CVS or Walmarts.

And last but certainly not least: Morphes Prep & Set setting spray.
The next time you order anything from Morphe *ahem, Jaclyn's pallet, do yourself a favor and add one of these to your cart.
I am such a sucker for setting sprays but this one is just gorgeous on the skin. It has one of the most wonderfully fine sprays which will ensure that you have an even, all over spray but it also does exactly what it is supposed to. It refreshes the skin and seals in your makeup! I have used this for over a month now and I absolutely notice a difference in the longevity of my makeup when I use this spray. You can find it here on their site for $14.99

Morphe Tip: I personally feel like the shipping on Morphe can be high. I try to make it worth it by ordering things like this, as an add on item. So when I go to purchase a new pallet or brushes I will add a setting spray or a lip product into the order at the same time. You don't necessarily want to order a $15.00 setting spray and pay $11.00 in shipping....
See what I mean...

So there is the roundup for the month of June.
June was an incredible month for makeup with so many amazing launches and wonderful finds.
Can't wait to share more in July.

Cheers!
