I Asked

It was girls night.

The night ALL mothers need from time to time. For us that consisted of margaritas, tacos and guacamole. I mean, naturally. We are both obsessed with Mexican.

I have been wanting to do an interview with my bestie for a while now and there was no better time than this evening.

Once we were a few drinks in we started. 

Backstory: Kaitlyn has been my best friend since Kindergarten. Yes, Kindergarten. Sleepovers, boy bands, singing groups, playing school, crushes,  pretend marriages on the playground, the works.

It is beyond a blessing to have a friend who has been there for every stage of your life. She is one strong woman, pursuing her dream career and raising her gorgeous daughter.

I highly recommend you try this with your friends. The laughs were endless.
*in fact there was a video and lets just say it was hard to gather the words mixed in with the laughs*

(My children can't read...it's girls night, ok?!) 

Ps: how amazing are these glasses? She gave them to me last year for my birthday. Marshals find for the win. Shes my unbiological sister) 

What does friendship mean to you?

It's having someone who is there regardless of what you're dealing with. Someone you completely trust.

Favorite Dunkin drink? 

"Pumpkin spice when I can and caramel macchiato when I cant." 

*She swears she doesnt order her pumpkin spice iced, but I know that's a lie.

What is one thing you regret having done or not done in life? 

"Not finishing college earlier!" 

What do you think you cook or bake the best?

"Does pasta count? I make a pretty mean stir-fry too though...."

If you could change your first name what would it be? 

"Oh man, I have to think about this one...What is a name that I really like....I don't know!" She never did settle on a name. But that was the right answer anyways because I have called her kk since elementary school and well, if she changed her first name that wouldn't make sense now would it?

Are aliens and ghosts real? 

"Ummm, aliens and ghosts. No. Not like green martian men aliens but I do think spirits are all around us and can come back to connect with us." 

This then led into the fact that I believe there are so many other life forms out there and there could be another planet in another galaxy where two women are sitting there asking each other the same question.

MIND BLOWN.

100 lip products or lip injections?

"Definitely lip products." *We disagreed on this one*

What is one food you will absolutely, under no circumstance eat? 

"Beets." 

What Disney Prince would you let sweep you off your feet? 

"I wanna say Prince Eric cause hello, Prince Eric but then I also feel like the Beast because lets be honest, most men take a little time to open up and show their true emotions." 

Ahem: TEAM PRINCE ERIC!!!!! 

You can only adopt one. Baby fox, baby kangaroo or baby raccoon.

"Baby kangaroo. Well no, baby raccoon. Ah! this is hard. Ok, so for the fox are we talking a red fox? Because those little faces are the cutest. Ok, baby raccoon."  

If you could have the power to be invisible or have mind control, which would you choose?

"Invisible. Being invisible would let you see someone for who they really are, where mind control would be molding someone into what you want them to be."

What would you eat for your last meal? 

"Seafood, crabs."

What do you love most about our friendship?

"The longevity. The history that we have and that we now get to be moms together, too." 

How do you want the world to see you? 

"For who I really am and not for the struggles I have faced or what people want me to be."

What have you always wanted to try? 

"SKY DIVING!" *laughing because our anxiety is WAY too out of control for that!
